29 September 2026 | 15:00 CEST
Language: English, with interpretation in French and Spanish

How can bonds help finance nature conservation and restoration? This webinar will examine how governments, banks and multilateral development banks can use debt instruments to mobilise capital for national biodiversity priorities.

Speakers will share examples of sovereign and bank-issued nature bonds, including approaches that direct proceeds to eligible activities and those linked to verified environmental results. The discussion will explore what governments and issuers need to develop credible bond frameworks, build investment pipelines and connect financing with National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans.

The webinar is part of the UNDP–UNEP FI Public–Private Community of Practice on Nature and Development Finance, under Revenues for Nature.
