This report presents the first assessment conducted under the BIOFIN methodology in Uruguay: the Biodiversity Policy and Institutional Review (PIR).
The analysis identifies the key stakeholders, regulatory frameworks, policies, instruments and incentives that influence biodiversity finance, and assesses the extent to which they contribute—or fail to contribute—to biodiversity conservation and sustainable use.
