The Biodiversity Finance Plan for the Province of Misiones provides a strategic roadmap to mobilize and optimize finance for biodiversity over the next decade. Developed under UNDP BIOFIN, the Plan identifies nine priority finance solutions — including carbon and biodiversity credits, sustainable tourism fees, green finance, wildlife insurance and green microfinance — with the potential to mobilize an estimated US$418 million for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
