The Nature Pledge is UNDP’s high level corporate commitment to transform global systems to meet vital targets to protect and restore the planet, eradicate poverty, reduce gender and other inequalities, advance human rights, and accelerate overall progress on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goal. This flagship commitment supports over 140 countries to put their ambitious targets under the historic Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework into action. Under the Nature Pledge, UNDP is helping to drive shifts in the way we value nature, finance and run our economies, and implement policy and practices to ensure that nature is at the centre of sustainable development.
